Going sledging

We have been going sledging at the common near our house lately. It is so fun! I can dodge people, shoot up ramps and screech round to a stop. Here is a video:

Zoe and Simon had some goes together. We recently got a sledge for free! We were coming back from a cold walk, and we saw a sign over the road that said 'please help yourself'. Somebody attached it to some sledges. They had a big pile of those small ones, one large sturdy-looking one and two large not very sturdy ones. We chose the one sturdy looking one. We looked it up the next day, and it was thirty pounds! It is sturdy and fun. It has brakes to stop it at the bottom of the hill. I have learnt to steer with the sledge using my hands.

I have also learnt how to pull Zoe in it. That is fun! It also means that Zoe doesn't have to do half the walk!
